I learned to crochet without patterns, and only learned to read patterns in the last 6 months; as a result, I'm still learning to write patterns.Abbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09607762595549734651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1539934753153886922.post-32317606182717576712010-04-13T09:07:45.950-07:002010-04-13T09:07:45.950-07:00Haha. I am pretty obsessive when it comes to yarn so I appreciate all the info!

The gnome turned out really well. Do you sell your patterns or post them on the blog?Saffron Panda Amigurumihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10324166082934764233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1539934753153886922.post-55350691178784260902010-04-13T08:45:46.626-07:002010-04-13T08:45:46.626-07:00Thanks!

Eco-Ways Bamboo Wool for the leaves.

The "skin" color for the gnome is Patons Astra "Apricot", his overalls are Lion Brand Wool-Ease Solids & Heathers "Blue" and the rest are various colors of Red Heart Ltd. Eco-Ways Bamboo Wool.

The mushroom uses Red Heart Ltd. Eco-Ways Bamboo Wool and TLC Cotton Plus Sold "Cream".

The snail is Elsbeth Lavold Bamboucle "Warm Red" and Lion Brand Wool-Ease Solids & Heathers "Mushroom".

Bluebird is TLC Cotton Plus Solid "Medium Blue".

Owl is Lion Brand Cotton-Ease "Plum".

More than you ever wanted to know about what type of yarn I used?

As for time, it's hard to say for sure, since I picked at it over a couple of weeks. The gnome took the longest because I was trying to create a pattern at the same time. The bluebird is a quick and easy pattern, maybe a couple of hours. The owl, mushroom and snail are about an hour to do. The leaves are the most tedious, but I probably had them all done in a couple of hours.

I hope to make some more gnomes in the near future - just as soon as I finish up some other projects!Abbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09607762595549734651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1539934753153886922.post-42705785354511123002010-04-12T21:58:14.364-07:002010-04-12T21:58:14.364-07:00Hi there!
